On this two-hour trail ride you can see beautiful wetlands, temperate rain forests, and bald eagles perched overhead. This local favorite is exciting yet peaceful, and explores a part of Alaska's history that few people get to see. You’ll travel on horseback across the Resurrection River Delta, making small fords at creeks and low rivers, visit grasslands home to Arctic terns and other rare bird species, and see two bald eagle nests. The route through bird habitat and the quiet mode of transportation make this an ideal tour for birders!
